You don't need to be delving into "culture" to be "relevant," you are about standing strong in Christ, keeping your eyes fully on Him and you are such a role model for me, a younger sister in Christ.

(And btw you have even inspired me to start my own blog!).

Grace & peace,
Sarah :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07117955677205940813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35551873.post-60430346176067798332008-04-18T14:52:00.000-07:002008-04-18T14:52:00.000-07:00Beautiful, moving post, Molly. It must be because Pascha is on my mind! :-)

Thanks, Molly, for looking over the manuscript. You are such a sweet and encouraging friend.

It is nice to hear from you Mimi! It feels to good to know that other moms are out there praying for the hearts and minds of their children.

And Father James,

I am familiar with "Paschal's wager" but it has certainly been a long time since I last read or heard it. It perfectly sums up (with alot less rambling) my motivation for pursuing the Truth. Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us! I have, by the way, been enjoying your manuscript! I look forward to getting deeper into it and finding out how, exactly, God led you and your beautiful family to the Orthodox Church!Molly Sabourinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04289593743687415065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35551873.post-31768312545125226442008-04-17T10:58:00.000-07:002008-04-17T10:58:00.000-07:00Beautiful, thank you! For the benefit of those not familiar with it, this is it in its essence.

If I follow Christ in this life, living according to his commandments and participating in the sacramental life of his Church, and when I die, it turns out that Christianity is not true, I have lost nothing important in this life, but have gained the rewards that go with living a virtuous life. And, I have gained everything in eternity.

If, however, I spurn Christ and his Church, and when I die, it turns out that Christianity is the truth, I have gained nothing of significance in this life, but I have lost everything -- for all eternity.

May the Lord bless you. Keep fighting the good fight.

Fr. You would think I wait anxiously for your next posting -- I do!

Fight the good fight as you take up your cross and follow Him...I pray to be right beside you, struggling and asking Christ to help my unbleief.

Molly, no delusion here in what you write but substance and actuality...thanks for the clarity!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
